Deb Deaton

Creating fiber art is a deeply personal journey for me, allowing me to merge my love for tactile experiences with my passion for self-expression. My freeform method of creation serves as a vessel for my emotions, thoughts, and experiences, woven together into a unique tapestry of my inner world. I find solace and meditation, as I immerse myself in the creative process, unraveling the threads of my imagination to bring forth something entirely new and meaningful. When I begin a piece of work, I begin thinking outside the box, to see what’s possible, stretching my imagination. There are no rules, just art! Creating art with fiber and mixed media is not my craft, rather, it reflects my soul, a medium through which I communicate with the world, leaving traces of my essence in every intricate detail.
