Call for Entry: “Ruins, Relics, and Rituals" Fiber Art Exhibition
Prospectus:
The Fiber Arts Center AZ invites our member fiber artists to showcase their work in our first in-person exhibition, titled, “Ruins, Relics, and Rituals”. This juried exhibition asks artists to delve deeply into the intricate realms of history, memory, symbolism, and cultural practices.
At the heart of this exhibition lies an exploration of the passage of time in themes such as the enduring significance of relics, the beauty found in ruins, and the transformative power embedded within rituals. Through the lens of contemporary fiber art, we want to start a dialogue that resonates with the essence of these themes, inviting artists to interpret them through personal narrative, historical reflection, or exploration of contemporary society.
Please help us enrich our cultural tapestry as we offer a platform for your artistic expression to shine, where you can contribute to a vibrant conversation about how the fiber arts shape our world.
We are excited to see your submissions and the opportunity to show viewers how your creativity and perspective bring these themes to life in the exhibition.
