Lisa Takata
Lisa Takata is a weaver and handspinner based in Phoenix AZ. She enjoys working with natural colors of wool and cotton. Lisa actively supports local sheep herders and cotton farmers by buying their raw wool fleeces and processing them by hand for her projects. She is a member of the Arizona Desert Weavers and Spinners Guild, Telaraña, Mountain Spinners and Weavers Guild and Handweavers of the Valley (California). In September 2024 Lisa was selected as a finalist for the Heritage Craft Prize sponsored by NEST and Kendra Scott.
